2. Information and Device Sensors

The Other Side uses the device's magnetometer to measure changes in magnetic field readings.
The application may also use motion sensors to detect device movement and improve measurement stability.
These measurements are used to operate the application's scanning features.

3. Microphone and Speech Recognition
The Other Side offers an optional voice input feature that allows users to ask questions through their device's microphone.
Microphone access is requested when needed for this feature.
Speech recognition may be processed by the Android speech recognition service, which may be provided by Google or another service installed on the device. Processing and data handling by that service are subject to its applicable privacy policy.

4. Questions and Scan History

The application processes questions and magnetic sensor readings to generate responses.
The application may maintain a local event history containing timestamps, questions, sensor readings and generated responses. Users may export this history as a CSV file.
Exported files are controlled by the user and may contain questions they have entered or spoken.

5. Advertising and Purchases
The current version of The Other Side does not contain advertisements or in-app purchases.

6. Data Sharing

The application is not intended to transmit scan history to the developer. However, optional speech recognition may involve third-party services, as described above.
If users choose to share exported CSV files, those files will be handled by the service or recipient they select.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Scan history may remain on the device until it is cleared through available application or Android device controls.
Users can remove locally stored application data through Android settings. Exported CSV files must be deleted separately from wherever they were saved.

8. Children's Privacy

The Other Side is not specifically designed for children.

9. Entertainment Disclaimer

The Other Side is intended for entertainment and experimental exploration. Magnetic field readings and generated responses do not establish the presence of spirits or paranormal activity.
